Current Research Topics

  •  Driving Assist System for safe and efficient vehicle driving.

This is a joint research with Prof. T. Kawabe, Kyushu University, Japan. One research Paper has already been presented and published in IEEE Conference on Control Applications 2007, 1-3 October in Singapore. Another paper will be submitted in Journal soon.

  •  Automated storage retrieval systems (for car parking).

Under the grant of IIUM Endowment fund. Design and development is under progress. Simulation of control algorithm has been done. A paper will be submitted for a conference soon.

  •  Autonomous agent based car Parking Management System.

In planning stage.

  •   Design and development of a Human-cooperative Manipulator.

  •  Automated Café: Development of a food supplying system

  •  Elevator Group Supervisory Control

  •  Exercise equipment with usable energy conversion mechanism

  •   Seed spraying mobile manipulator

  •  Development of Intelligent Charger for Hybrid Car: Brake charging

Undergraduate student may propose their interested project titles 2 months before the semester starts
